FAQ

What's included for free with a one2one2 account?

For Artists:

A free account on one2one2 gives any independent musical artist an instant electronic press kit (EPK) to highlight their experience, detail their booking info, and feature their online demos (video and/or audio) all in one place. Artists also get a conveniently personalized dashboard to track booking requests and offers from sponsors.

For Talent Seekers & Venues:

one2one2 gives anyone looking to hire musical talent (such as promoters, event planners, managers, or musical directors) a fast and easy way to submit and track offers to artists. Venue owners also get free landing pages to highlight location information, amenities, equipment, and booking policies for each of their venues.

What is a connected account?

A connected account is a registered user (artist or anyone hiring an artist for a performance) that has authorized the deposit of funds to their bank account through the Stripe® payments processing service.

How do I accept credit cards through one2one2?

one2one2 accepts all major credit cards with the Stripe® payments processing service. By authorizing your one2one2 artist account to accept Stripe payments, you create a connected account subject to the terms of the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Payments are disbursed to the registered bank account of any user with a connected account through the Stripe payments processing service.

Are credit card transactions on one2one2 safe?

Yes. All credit card transactions on one2one2 are processed using the Stripe® payments processing service; the payment processor trusted by companies who take protecting customer data seriously.

Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1—the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. For more information about Stripe security policies and infrastructure, visit the Stripe Security Center.

Does the one2one2 service charge apply to splits of the bar or door/cover?

No. The one2one2 service charge is only applied to booking fees and guarantees, not incentives or splits negotiated with artists.

Any percentages of the door/cover or bar specified in performance agreements and included in artists' payments are only subject to Stripe® processing fees.

What's the difference between the Unlimited and Per Venue subscriptions?

The Unlimited subscription automatically makes any venue registered to your account eligible for booking requests. Any new venue added to an existing account enrolled in the Unlimited subscription is added to the list of venues eligible for booking.

By contrast, the Per Venue subscription requires a venue owner/manager to register each individual venue to make them eligible for booking. This also applies to any new venues added to your account after registering for the Per Venue subscription.

How do I get the one2one2 booking widget to embed on my own site?

The one2one2 booking widget allows registered users with a connected Stripe account to display a booking form directly on their website.

Follow these steps to embed your one2one2 booking widget:

  1. Sign in to your one2one2 account
  2. Select the 'Edit Your Account' link from the menu navigation or from your dashboard.
  3. On the Edit Your Account screen, go to the 'Payment Processing' section and create a new connected Stripe account or connect an existing Stripe account.
  4. Select the 'Update Account' button to save your changes and navigate to your dashboard.
  5. Select the 'Widget Embed Code' link in artist details or in the Venues panel for sponsors to open the Booking Widget Embed Code modal.
  6. Set the Authorized Domain to the site where the widget will be embedded (for example, example.com).
  7. Choose your preferred widget background color and save it.
  8. Create (or regenerate) the widget API key and copy the generated embed code (IMPORTANT: Save the API key in a secure location. The booking widget requires this key to function properly and will not work without it).
  9. Copy the code displayed in the modal and paste into the HTML of your site where you want the widget to appear. Keep both the <div id="one2one2-widget"></div> and the <script ...></script> block together.
  10. Publish your site, then refresh the page in your browser to verify the widget loads.

If the widget does not appear, confirm that the page domain exactly matches the authorized domain on your API key and that your API key was copied completely.

Why haven't I received my password reset instructions by email?

If you forgot your password and submitted a password reset request, but haven't received the email with instructions for resetting your password, it's possible the email was filtered into the "Spam" folder of your email client.

Check the Spam folder in your email client to confirm whether the email was filtered upon receipt. Be sure to add "one2one2.com" and/or "no-reply@one2one2.com" to the Safe Senders list in your email client to ensure email communications aren't filtered out of your inbox.

How do I delete my one2one2 account?

You can delete your one2one2 account at any time by following these steps:

  • From your dashboard, select the "Edit Your Account" link
  • Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Your Account screen & select the "Delete Your Account" button
  • Select the "Delete" button in the confirmation modal that appears to complete your account deletion request

PLEASE NOTE: Any balances remaining in your connected Stripe account must be resolved before your connected account can be deleted. Once you delete your one2one2 account, your stored data and information will no longer be available or accessible from the one2one2 platform.
